2024 Tokyo Cycle Mode unveiled Maui Series Paintless Wheel
From April 6th to 7th, the biggest bike show “ Cycle Mode Tokyo” was held at the Tokyo Big Sight International Exhibition Center, attracting 21823 visitors and 189 exhibitors. It is a great honor for Nepest to participate in the cycling industry feast. Although it is first debut in the event,its booth was extremely busy and filled with endless stream of visitors to inquire,including Katsuo-san from Katsuo Channel and Nakayama-san from Cycle-gadget. The exhibition was successfully held beyond expectations. Why Nepest received so much attention? Firstly, let’s go back to our history.
In 2017, we started the OEM business for the first lines bike brands. Over several years of accumulated technology and production capacity, we establish our own brand called “Nepest”. we aim at designing and manufacturing wheels in paint-less, ultra-lightweight, and innovative. Since 2022, we have participated in various cycle exhibitions such as Taipei Cycle Show, Eurobike, Cycle Mode Tokyo and other event to enhance our brand. Until now, more and more consumers recognize our brand.In 2024, we are focusing on Japanese market. Before the exhibition, We released a lot of product details and marketing campaigns on Instagram and YouTube. Many Japanese cycling enthusiasts came to our booth and pick up the wheels because of the reputation.
During the exhibition, Nepest’s most popular Maui series wheels, its lightweight, simple yet luxurious design has attracted a lot of attention. And we received positive reviews from everyone. The Maui series wheelset are launched last year and favored by the local visitors.The Maui series is available in three different rim heights. Available in 35mm, 45mm and 50mm. All are for disc brakes. First of all, the rim is a paint-less design. Paint-less means that it is not painted, and as you get closer, you can gradually see the carbon pattern. It's like a glittering gloss. And in order to reduce weight, the logo is laser etched instead of a decal. Therefore, it is about 20 grams light and strong. This 50mm set is very light at only 1315 grams. Generally speaking, decals are applied, but compared to that, they are lightweight and do not peel off or change color. The logo design is not flashy, but has a luxurious feel.
Japan is a very important market for us. There are a lot of road bike fans, and there are many enthusiastic people from young generation to veterans.
