How to install the tubeless rim tape

• The first thing we are going to do is to clean the rim channel thoroughly especially for those dust or big chunks of adhesive or anything weird in the channel, or the tape will be peel off easily.
• Start your tape at the 2nd spokes holes past the valve hole, along the channel of the rim.
• Align the rim tape inside the center of the channel while keeping tension.
• Continue wrapping over the first 2 spoke holes for proper overlapping.
• It is very important to double check the rim tape with wrinkles or bubbles or not.
• When the tape isn't pressed all the way down onto the wall of the channel of the rim yet, We can heat it with a hairdryer and it can be stretched down into the channel center, and be a perfect seal.
• For the next step, to install the valve, poke a small hole through the tape, by pressing the top of the valve with thumb while tightening the lock nut.

How to choose the tubeless rim tape width

You should choose the rim tape a little bit wider than the width of the rim channel center. When you are pulling your tape keep good tension and smooth down into the channel center as you go along. The tape should go sidewall to sidewall inside the rim. We provide 25mm and 31mm width rim tapes at this moment.
